The key to quality eyewear production begins with equipment on which it's produced.  We're excited to say we are an Optek Surfacing Lab which means your glasses are fabricated right on site.  This means you can expect your eyewear to be completed accurately and efficiently.  No one can do it better.

Let's back up for just a moment. The real beginning is the frame selection and understanding of your eyewear prescription.  Properly pairing those components is very key.  Knowing the frames that work best for you and your Rx to provide comfort and quality vision is vital to an awsome result.  And when production of your lenses does begin, we have a state of the art lens fabricating lab.

New Lens Grinding Procedure

All of the information about your lenses and how they will fit you and your frame are entered into our specialized software which includes extremely accurate frame shape data.  This allows us to customized the prescription lenses for your frame from the very beginning.  Fabricating the size and thickness of the Rx blanks allows us to ensure the best in looks and comfort.  This technology also makes us the ideal choice to produce those more complicated prescription lenses. Then, closely calibrated equipment produces quality lenses to be shaped into your selected frame.

Checking A New Lense for Accuracy

Prior to preparation for insertion into the frame the lenses are inspected to ensure that it's curvatures are perfect and it's surfaces are blemish free.  This process is part of a quality control commitment performed by technicians with years of experience.  The lenses are then edged to the perfect size and shape for your frame using the same frame data collected and stored at the very beginning.  And, since quality and accuracy are essential to your satisfaction, the final pair of glasses are again inspected for a final time.
